It was recently announced that Roc Nation will executive produce a TV series based on Malorie Blackman’s novel, Noughts & Crosses.

Noughts & Crosses is a story about a 21st-century society where people of African descent are members of the upper/ruling class, while white people are part of the underclass.

According to Variety, the company will be handling soundtracks for the television series, while Mammoth Screen will produce the BBC series.

Executive producer for Patrick Reardon, told Variety during an interview, “We are thrilled to partner with Mammoth Screen and Participant Media on this series, which explores issues of race and discrimination through such a provocative and unexpected lens.”
