Kim Kardashian  recently opened up about Kanye West making her part-owner Yeezy brand after he asked her to turn down a $1 million advertisement offer from one of his competitors.

Kim shared the news of going into business with her husband during an interview with Ashley Graham on her new podcast, “Pretty Big Deal.”

“A brand offered me a million dollars to do a post on, you know, some of their clothing,” the 37-year-old reality-TV starlet began. “And they typically, I don’t want to say who the brand is, but they typically knock off Yeezy.”

Kardashian was thinking about taking the deal because of the big offer, but she thought to ask her husband first.

“He was like, ‘No, babe, I really don’t want you to do that,’” she added. “It’s understandable, but that’s a lot of money!” Kardashian said.

To make up for the lost offer, Ye  sent Kardashian West a $1 million check for Mother’s Day two weeks later.

“He happened to be recording out of town and I get an envelope delivered to the door. I open the envelope and it is a million dollar check and a note saying, ‘Thank you for always supporting me and not posting.’”
