Sacramento lyricist, Mozzy, is keeping his album rollout momentum going with a gritty visual for “Walk Up”. Produced by James Royo, the track is another compliment to his current singles including the Ty Dolla $ign and YG-backed “Thugz Mansion,” which surpassed 3 million YouTube views in less than two weeks.

The video, directed by one of Mozzy’s regular collaborators SUJ, reimagines a scene from the cult classic film Menace II Society and even features the real “Caine”, Tyrin Turner. Hypebeast premiered the video yesterday and said the “song takes stories from a seasoned, weary-eyed street-soldier and delivers them through a combination of tightly-wound flows and a menacingly-funky James Royo production.” His latest project Ganglord Landlord is due next Friday, October 5th.Watch below and let us know what you think.
