Childish Gambino kicked off his “This Is America Tour” on Thursday night at Atlanta’s Infinite Energy Arena. But during the first show the rapper took the time to speak to fans and to stress the importance of the concert.

“If you’re at this show know it’s the last Gambino tour ever,” he told the crowd. “This is not a concert. This is f*cking church.”

However, the rapper didn’t necessarily mean he was not going to have any more tours at all. Gambino has talked about retiring his rap name since way back in January. He said that the next record he puts out under that name will be the last and he will rule future projects and tours under a different name— maybe his government name, Donald Glover?
