Trippie Redd sat down with Power 106 in Los Angeles, and spoke about conspiracy theories with The Bernstein Bears and his upcoming tour with Travis Scott. He even talked about what changes or improvements he’d make in Chicago if he was Kanye West.

Redd talked about how he connected with some of his fans during a recent show in Chicago. The rapper said he sat down with some of them in hopes to “change the youth.” This sit down conjured the question of why artists from Chicago aren’t doing more for their city?

“There’s only one hospital in Chicago that got a place you can go after you get shot, so if you get shot 40 minutes away from the hospital you gotta go 40 minutes,” he told Power 106. “That’s sad and they got so many artists that done made it out of there, like, not even trying to diss Kanye cause I love Kanye, but I mean Kanye, like, that’s where he from… Go show Chi-town some love, go give ’em $30 million to build a new hospital.”

Clearly, a new hospital is something the city desperately needs. However, building a new hospital is no easy feat and will be incredibly expensive. Although this donation of $30 million will be a massive help, more money will likely be needed. Furthermore, the hospital will likely need the services of a company like Precision Medical Billing which specializes in medical billing. This will allow the hospital to bill patients for healthcare and be able to become self-sufficient. Redd’s generous donation could help save thousands of lives of Chicago citizens and make a real difference to the city.

Throughly the interview, Redd didn’t continue to make it clear that he’s a Kanye fan and that he was just wondering why there’s not more from Yeezy and other Chicago artist when it come to giving back to their community.
