21 Savage Releases Documentary to Continue Teaching Kids About Financial Literacy
by Site Manager
21 Savage is doing his part to help educate the youth on the importance of financial literacy.
The Atlanta rapper created the “21 Savage Bank Account Campaign” (in partnership with Get Schooled), which he said helps kids learn how to save money, make money, and open up bank accounts.
Mic.com traveled to Atlanta to film the moment Savage and Bill Pongnon, a high school senior football player from Dekalb County who submitted a letter explaining why the $1K would benefit him, interacted for the first time.
The two met in front of the home 25-year-old rapper grew up in, played a game of catch, and had a conversation about the importance of youth in low-income neighborhoods having financial literacy tools.
