During an interview with iHeartRadio, Nas discussed making music with some of the greatest producers and considered Yeezy to be one of them. And because of how great he is, it motivated the rapper to want to work with Ye’ on his upcoming album, Nasir.

Not only that, but Nas also mentioned that him and Kanye were planning for years to work on an album together and now that time has come.

“For years we’ve been talking about doing, this has been a conversation for a couple of years,” says Nas.

The rapper later tells the audience about what it was like working with Kanye and announces another Nas album that will be on the way.

“There’s another album that I had already been working on before Kanye… I’m finishing it up it won’t be that long.”
