On this weekends episode of Power, Complex said that their will be a special guest. The July 29th episode will have Kendrick Lamar as the guest star, which will be his first time appearing on TV in a fictional story.

However, no details have been released On how he will fit into the storyline. But we do know that Lama will be sharing scenes with Kanan, 50 cent’s character.

“Kendrick is a once-in-a-generation talent and [series creator] Courtney [A. Kemp], 50, and I felt it would be exciting to create a role for him in Power,” executive producer Mark Canton said in a statement obtained by Complex. “Everyone involved is thrilled to have him join the family.”

The episode that Kendrick will appear in is titled “Happy Birthday.” The episode will be about Tariq celebrating his first birthday without his twin sister, Raina; Tasha finds a shoulder to cry on in Terry Silver; Ghost will learn that Dre is trying to replace him in the legitimate world; and Kanan and Tariq will bond over their shared mistrust of Ghost, as stated in Complex.
