Every time Drake drops music, new milestones are made. Not only is the double threat on Billboard’s list of 50 highest paid muscians, but he is now the first artist to EVER reach 10 billion streams on Apple.
This is another streaming record the Toronto rapper has broken. Apple Music announced Drake’s accomplishment by making a post on Instagram earlier this week.
“A new era,” the caption reads. “10 billion streams on Apple Music. Congratulations, @champagnepapi. #drake.”

This just adds on to the excitement since the release of Scorpion last month, and the singles “Nice For What” and “In My Feelings” hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album itself even debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has remained No. 1 for two weeks.
Drake’s album also broke the single-day streaming record on Spotify and Apple Music, as well as the one-week streaming record.
