After releasing two summer tracks for the world to groove to, on Wednesday, July 11 Childish Gambino announced that the a series of events called  “Summertime Starts Here” will be taking place in New York City, Los Angeles, and London over the weekend, July 13-15.

On the first day, the first set of events will take place in New York at Union Square from noon to 4 p.m. ET. The next day, Saturday, the second experience will be held at Fort Greene Park at noon.

Los Angeles events begins on Saturday, July 14, at the Santa Monica Pier starting at 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. PT. On Sunday the next mysterious experience will be hosted at Fairfax High School from noon to 4 p.m.

Unlike NYC and LA, London will only have a day’s worth of the Summertime experience. The event will last for nine hours starting at 1 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m. GMT on Saturday at Gunnersbury Park.

There is speculation on the rappers  Forever Childish  fan website that the experience will be free to the public. It’s not clear whether Childish will make any special appearances or performances seeing that the dates of the events overlap one another.
