The new verses come after his album ‘Scorpion’ broke streaming records globally and has become the first album to ever surpass 1 billion streams in a week.

Drake took to Instagram to celebrate the achievement. “New era. New platinum,” he said in a caption. “Thank you a billion times over (a billion plus).” Post Malone’s beerbongs & bentleys previously held the record with 700 million streams.
