Cardi B fresh off her ‘Be Careful‘ visual has just made Billboard history. The Bronx rapper returned to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with “I Like It.” She now becomes the first female rapper ever to score two number 1 singles.
Cardi B’s scored her first number one with “Bodak Yellow” back in September and it remained atop the charts for three weeks straight. Once tied, Cardi has now passed her peers including Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” in 1998, Lil’ Kim’s “Lady Marmalade” in 2001, Shawnna’s 2003 hit “Stand Up”, and 2014’s “Fancy” by Iggy Azalea.
