With the release of his forthcoming album Rolling Papers 2 on the horizon, Wiz Khalifa teams up with Swae Lee on his new single “Hopeless Romantic.”

During an interview with Ebro on Beats 1, Wiz spoke highly of Swae Lee’s creative process:

“I like Swae Lee,” he said. “He understands melody and all of that, so the creative process for this was just me and him talking to each other on the phone, trying to come up with an idea and a vibe. We just captured the fun and just picked it like that.”

Earlier this month Wiz revealed that Rolling Papers 2 features: Snoop Dogg, Bone Thugs and Harmony, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Chevy Woods, Ty Dolla $ign, and Gucci Mane. The album is expected to arrive on July 13, ahead of Wiz’s upcoming Dazed and Blazed Tour featuring Rae Sremmurd.
