Lizzo is known for breaking a standard or two with her body-positive and gender equality movement. The Minneapolis musician uses her music to create empowering, self-love anthems that everyone can relate to, and she keeps that theme going in her latest video titled “Boys”.

The song, carried by disco beats is an ode to all types of boys. Lizzo let it be known that she doesn’t discriminate. Throughout the song she proclaimed her love “Big boys, itty bitty boys, Mississippi boys, inner city boys, pretty boys with the bow tie, playboys, and gay boys”.

When asked about the inspiration for the track, Lizzo told Out the following:

“I want people to feel free, I want people to have fun, I want these boys to know that you could be my next victim… if you play your cards right.”

This track definitely has the potential to be on everyone’s summer playlist.
