Famous Dex was arrested last night in New York City due to an outstanding warrant.

TMZ reports the arrest may be the result of Famous Dex being in the company of people involved in credit card fraud.

Sources told the site that the 24-year-old was also cited for marijuana possession. However, he was not charged for anything related to the credit card fraud committed by the other hotel visitors. His team confirmed that he actually had nothing to do with it.

Currently, Dex is being transported to the Bronx to see a judge about the warrant, TMZ reports.

As for the real credit card fraudsters, let’s just hope they got a lot of money and a good lawyer.
