Nicki Minaj Is Back With New Videos For ‘Barbie Tingz” & “Chun-Li”

After teasing her fans with previews of the visuals, Nicki Minaj returns with double videos for her new singles “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li”. These videos come ahead of her of appearance on the season finale of Saturday Night Live on May 19th.
It has been a busy few weeks for the rapper who has been hitting the ground running since her interview on Zane Lowe on Beats 1 radio. When it came to creating this album she mentioned
“I wanted to make sure I was writing something that was meaningful to me and that would inspire and that would captivate my audience,” she said. “But most importantly, I wanted to have fun [in the studio] again.”
She also added:
“Music has become much more than music now. It’s become just a lot of shenanigans. And I was like man… I can rap. At the end of the day, that’s what I do. I don’t know about nobody else, but I rap,” Nicki said.
All the hard work she put into delivering her next full project will be documented in a documentary. She feels it’s important that people take notice to all the work she puts behind her craft:
“Nicki Minaj is not all about posting photos; I really make music. I really write my own music, and have been my writing my own music since the day I stepped in the game. And I never stopped. And I co-produce. I think when people see the documentary they will understand. Because Jimmy [Iovine] was like ‘People need to see this, Nick. People don’t know this about you, and they should know.’
