R. Kelly’s senior staff call it quits after sexual misconduct claims

R.Kelly’s senior staff decided enough is enough after BBC Three’s, R. Kelly: Sex, Girls, and Videotapes aired. BBC reports that his longtime lawyer, Linda Mensch and assistant of ten years, Diane Copeland have walked out on the singer. Their resignations came after supporting Kelly for the past year, defending his sexual misconduct allegations. Linda confirmed to BBC Three that she “no longer represented Mr Kelly or his entities.”
According to The Daily Beast, the documentary reveals how Kelly keeps young women as “sex pets,” in his Georgia and Illinois home. The singer’s alleged relationships, exposes him for holding young women captive under a mind-controlled “sex cult.”
R.Kelly’s most recent accuser is claiming he gave her an incurable STD. NY Daily News notes that Kelly recruited her for the cult, forced her to sign a contract, and exchange sensitive information about her family for collateral.
