Kodak Black has been awaiting the results of him getting arrested in January under marijuana possession charges. He has also been charged for possession of a gun but not many details are known about that. Two months later, the Florida rapper has been sentenced to spend one year in jail. Kodak has spent 90 days in jail so far and has a chance to be released earlier on good behavior.
Kodak’s arrest in January included charges of grand theft of a firearm, two charges of possession of a weapon or ammo by a Florida delinquent adult felon, possession of cannabis over 20 grams, child neglect without great bodily harm and two counts of parole violation. However, most of the charges were dismissed and lowered to possession of a weapon by a felon & marijuana possession. Kodak pleaded not guilty.
The rapper has been granted the chance to receive his GED and will have to serve 364 days.
