On Thursday night, The Weeknd gave fans exactly what they’ve been waiting for, plus a treat. Just minutes after his album release My Dear Melancholy, The Weeknd dropped a video compilation showing behind-the-scenes footage of making the album.

In the visual, he’s alone in a room catching the vibe and then takes his energy to the studio. In the background, you can hear a few clips of his deep and vulnerable new tracks.
