It’s a good time to be a hip-hop fan. As always, supporting stars on the rise is our mission and this new array of artist give a wide gamut of styles and tastes. Get into these new tracks below and let us know what you think.

Artist: Melii

Track: Icey

Hot Take: Harlem native Melii is creating a buzz for herself with new track “Icey”. After her remix to Cardi B‘s “Bodak Yellow” went viral, she is showcasing why she is next up with her innate ability to flow over sparse yet aggressive tracks.

Artist: Pouya

Track: Void

Hot Take: Featured on the Civil Selects playlist for March, Florida rapper Pouya unleashes crazy flows over beat dripping in southern hip-hop. His debut project “Five Five” is out now produced by Mike The Magician and is garnering well deserved acclaim.

Artist: Vory

Track: 9.22

Hot Take: First introduced to Vory back in 2016 with rise of Bryson Tiller (he co-wrote the hit “Don’t”), we’ve seen consistent releases throughout 2017 and now his first track as lead artist in 2018 with the bustling, reaffirming “9.22”.

Artist: Ronny J

Track: One Time (ft. Smokepurpp)

Hot Take: Florida rapper known for his producer tag as much as his signature distorted sound dropped his debut “OMGRONNY”. While not drenched in lyricism nor incredibly lengthy, Ronny J brings an raucous soundtrack to a lively night with “One Time”.

Artist: Fatman

Track: Brown Hunnids (ft. Hoodrich Pablo Juan)

Hot Take: Rising Toronto rapper Fatman enlists Atlanta’s Hoodrich Pablo Juan for his latest single, a grind mode anthem called “Brown Hunnids.” Produced by Shamgod Beatz, this is a track about getting money and bossing up-by any means necessary.
