Duckwrth
Duckwrth, born Jared Lee in South Central, California, was fenced in by gang bangers and the hustle of the West Coast in the 90s. However, his music definitely gives us some 70s psychedelic waves mixed in with some good ol’ funk.
Buddy
Since being spotted in the studio with Snoop Dogg and Pharrell, we knew Buddy was going to be the next big thing. Hailing for Compton, California, the young MC is signed to Pharrell’s i am Other label as well as Columbia Records.
Quincey White
Quincey White, formerly known as Dubb is another rapper repping the West Coast. Signed to Sway Calloway’s label, OverDeliver Entertainment, his new album The 7 gives listeners a little bit of everything.
Valee
Valee is G.O.O.D. Music’s newest signee and earlier this year, the label alongside Pusha T made the special announcement. The Chicago rapper garnered attention in 2017 with the release of his ChaseTheMoney collaboration VTM and his appearance on the song “Are U Live,” from Chance the Rapper and Jeremih’s Christmas mixtape.
G Perico
Despite his career having just begun, G Perico’s gift for mythmaking is fully formed. He’s already among the most popular L.A. street rappers to emerge in the last two years, and his latest album, 2 Tha Left is a banger.
