Here’s A Look At The People Drake Gave Back To For The ‘God’s Plan’ Video

Moments ago, Drake released the highly anticipated video for his new number 1 single “God’s Plan” and the philanthropy from the superstar was on full display.
Prior to the video’s release, clips started to surface on social media of Drake giving back to the Miami community in various ways. We saw him buy groceries for everyone shopping at a Miami grocery store, we saw him give $50,000 to a homeless shelter, we watched him gift a new car to a young man named Peterson, who survived the Haiti earthquake, and much much more.

Now that the official video is out everywhere, we get an even deeper look at all the people Drake gave back to and helped out for this video. In addition to the aforementioned grocery store and the homeless shelter, Drake also gave back to a local fire station, who helped him get certain shots for the video. You see him embrace the firefighters and then present them with a $20,000 check.
Drake then gave out wads of cash to multiple families who were hanging out in the park; wrote a huge check and provided an enormous amount of toys for a large group of kids; more surprise visits to random students in high school and college; shopping sprees all over the place, including Saks Fifth Avenue alongside NFL superstar Antonio Brown, and more.
Most importantly, however, was Drake spreading positive and important messages to various people. “We’re nothing without our mothers,” Drake tells an emotional young boy and his mom. “You gotta make sure to take care of your mom too. That’s all we got” It’s deeper than music with Drake, and that’s what we can appreciate most.
Last night, Drake took to IG with a caption that read “The most important thing I have ever done in my career…drop a 🙏🏽 if I can share it with you.” He clearly wasn’t lying.
The world needs more of this!
