Cardi B i-D Magazine Cover

All of us saw the amount of welcomed damage Cardi B brought upon the Hip-Hop scene in 2017. Now, as we’re fresh into the new year, Cardi B feels like an unstoppable force. Currently having 2 singles under her belt before the release of her debut album, the Bronx rapper is occupied in all aspects of her life at the moment.

Covering i-D Magazine, the star touched on everything from her childhood to Feminism.

“Being a feminist is such a great thing and some people feel like someone like me can’t be as great as that,” she begins. “But then some people are smart but they don’t have no common sense.” Lips pout, eyebrows rise. “They think feminism is great and only a woman that can speak properly, that has a degree, who is a boss, a businessperson… they think only Michelle Obama can be a feminist.”

The bubbling star also discussed her days in the strip club and growing accustom to that environment and so much more. Even without seeing her, the rapper’s personality shined through once again.
