Chance The Rapper and his non-profit Social Works are getting into the Black History Month spirit in a major way. Yesterday (Feb 1), Chance took to Twitter to announce that he and his team will be launching a film festival in honor of BHM.

Each week at Studio Grill in Chicago, Chance and Social Works will host a new movie showing of a historically black film. That will include: “The Wiz,” “Malcolm X,” “Shot In The Dark,” “Black Panther” and “Ali.” The best part? Tickets will only cost $7.

Chance continues to make waves with his Social Works non-profit. Just this past December, Google donated a whopping $1 million grant to Social Works to assist in bringing computer science to the students in the Chicago area. Last summer, Chance and Social Works collab’d with Landr for an audio mastering youth summer program as well.

Continue to make strides in the community, Chance!
