Kendrick Lamar 2018 Grammy Awards Nominations
Best Rap Performance:

“Bounce Back” — Big Sean
“Bodak Yellow” — Cardi B
“4:44” — Jay-Z
“HUMBLE.” — Kendrick Lamar
“Bad And Boujee” — Migos Featuring Lil Uzi Vert

Our Take:  You didn’t think Kendrick Lamar would get shut out did you? Our team was split between Kendrick and Cardi, but ultimately chose the artists who would be more traditionally a safe pick for the Grammy. However, don’t truly be surprised if any of these were to win. The only outlier may be “Bounce Back.”

Best Rap/Sung Performance:
“PRBLMS” — 6LACK
“Crew” — Goldlink Featuring Brent Faiyaz & Shy Glizzy
“Family Feud” — Jay-Z Featuring Beyoncé
“LOYALTY.” — Kendrick Lamar Featuring Rihanna
“Love Galore” — SZA Featuring Travis Scott

Our Take: The family is one and “Family Feud” is going to be the “Grammy Family.” Put it on Hov and B.

Best Rap Song:
“Bodak Yellow” — Dieuson Octave, Klenord Raphael, Shaftizm, Jordan Thorpe, Washpoppin & J White, songwriters (Cardi B)
“Chase Me” — Judah Bauer, Brian Burton, Hector Delgado, Jaime Meline, Antwan Patton, Michael Render, Russell Simins & Jon Spencer,
songwriters (Danger Mouse Featuring Run The Jewels & Big Boi)
“HUMBLE.” — Duckworth, Asheton Hogan & M. Williams II, songwriters (Kendrick Lamar)
“Sassy” — Gabouer & M. Evans, songwriters (Rapsody)
“The Story Of O.J.” — Shawn Carter & Dion Wilson, songwriters (Jay-Z)

Our Take: Kendrick Lamar will be hanging his hat on “HUMBLE.” as his bread and butter for the night. The song’s lyrics will hold the wait against anyone else.
