With (another) Superbowl performance in queue, Justin Timberlake seems determined to add a new layer to his legacy in 2018. After trademarking the phrase “Man of the Woods” and teasing the title a bit, the superstar singer has shared a release date for a project of the same name.
Man of the Woods will arrive Feb. 2nd, according to JT. A video on his website features the singer in a variety of rugged outdoor settings. We’re gifted with a few snippets of music and see footage of Justin in the studio with Pharrell Williams, who says, “It feels so earthy, just where you are in your life right now.” We also see him kissing his wife, Jessica Biel, and holding a child who’s assumed to be their son Silas.
“This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any album I’ve ever written, where I’m from,” says Justin. “And it’s personal.”
