Tyler, The Creator took over NPR’s “Tiny Desk” officer corner to mark the media hub’s first nighttime performance. According to NPR, he and his team wanted to professionally light the stage themselves.

The band took off with the introduction to “Boredom,” where Tyler’s pair of backup singers took the place of Rex Orange County’s vocals. As the Flower Boy rapper continued to run out of breath from his long winded verses, they eventually groove into “See You Again,” and “Glitter,” before introducing each of the performers.
