Maintaining a successful post-prison career, it’s hard to believe Gucci Mane has only been a free man for a year and some change. The rapper recently released a trailer to announce The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, a book that will chronicle each defining moment that led to his current state of mind.

The short but cinematic visual cuts back and forth between moments of “old” and “new” Gucci, gifting us with photos from his childhood, moments in the studio and sincere words from the East Atlanta Santa himself. The autobiography is a compilation of the memoirs Guwop wrote while incarcerated, according to Fader. It chapter’s segments of his entire life; from growing up in Alabama, thriving in Atlanta, making it in music and beyond.
