The new wave of DJ’s dropping their own projects is in full force, and we are far from complaining about that. It appears the next major DJ to take a stab at this is K Camp’s official DJ, Genius.

With his new project A 98′ Story dropping at the end of the month on September 29th, the talented disc jockey is back today with the album’s first single “One Year Later” featuring K Camp and Sonny Digital.

Genius’ forthcoming project gives us an inside look at his journey from leaving his hometown of Jamaica to relocating in Atlanta in 1998. The hitmaker migrated to the Eastside of Atlanta from Jamaica in 1998 forcing him to embrace the Atlanta Hip Hop culture, as well as the music scene he knew he wanted to be a part of.

The new project follows up his previous releases A Eastside Story (2016) and A Come Up Story (2017). We expect big things with this new body of work.
