Although we haven’t had new album from Pharrell in some time, fans of the hit-maker have been getting blessed with new music and snippets. Today, fortunately, changes all of that with the release of his new tune, “Yellow Light.”

Now, there isn’t a need to get ahead of ourselves by attaching this record to a new solo Pharrell album as “Yellow Light” serves as the lead single from the upcoming Despicable Me 3 movie soundtrack. Having the soundtrack due out on June 23, and the film set for release on June 30, time will tell if the catchy “Yellow Light” song will match up or even touch a fraction of the impact that his Despicable Me single, “Happy,” had on listeners.
