It’s that time again, folks. The 2017 BET Awards are right around the corner!

Airing on June 25th on BET, today this year’s nominations have been revealed, and to no surprise, Beyonce is at the forefront with a whopping 7 nominations. Following close behind her is the hitmaker himself, Bruno Mars, who earned himself 5 noms this year.

In what should be a good sibling rivalry, Solange (who grabbed 4 noms) will face Beyonce for best female R&B/pop artist. That said, the Knowels sisters have some competition as well with Rihanna, Mary J. Blige and Kehlani also in that category.

Migos stepped up their game this year and also secured 4 nominations themselves.

For the Best Hip-Hop Artist awards (male and female) we have some great competition. For the men, voters will decide between Chance The Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, J. Cole, Future and Big Sean. On the female side, we expect Nicki Minaj to take home the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist prize, an award she’s won since 2010.
