If you could pick one song off the album to win over a new fan what would it be?

Stro: That’s tricky, that’s tricky… I know my favorite song on the album is a song I did with Elbee Three called “P.S.A. Calm Down.” It’s very politically driven, very musical, and jazzy. But, if I had to choose one I think it would have to be “From Me.”

You’re rapper, a producer, and an actor. Is there anything else you’d like to venture in the near future?

Stro: I don’t know, I’ll probably write books or something. I like to read a lot, so that could be a possibility, and you know, writing is the foundation of rapping.

You’ve been called a “true child of Hip-Hop,” how does that make you feel?

Stro: I definitely feel like I’m a product of Hip-Hop. I grew up being surrounded, and everything in my life has something to do with Hip-Hop. I’m very proud of it, I appreciate it that people associate me with true Hip-Hop.

You’re 20-years-old now but you’ve been in the entertainment world for some time, what key lessons have you learned early on in your career?

Stro: There’s a few stuff I’ve learned but one of the most important things I’ve learned and understand now is that you have to treat everyone with respect. I was at a point in my career, where I was just popping to the point that 50 Cent and Jay Z would call my manager and I was at the top of the world but I didn’t appreciate it at that time. I was so young, and it was all getting to my head.

If you would have asked me this 5-6 years ago, I would have given your some very vague answers, and not necessarily disrespectful but definitely “whatever” answers.

Because you never know who’s who in this business so definitely to treat people with respect, and put out good music.

What are your goals for the rest of the year?

Stro: For the rest of the year, I definitely plan to be on tour in a couple of months. I’m going to release a second LP. This Grade a Frequencies is the first LP for me, so I do want to release another one later this year. At the end of the day just more new music, and get myself more out there. I definitely feel like people vibe with my music and with my brand.
