50 Cent Is No Longer On Chris Brown’s ‘Party Tour’ Due To New Movie Role
by Staff Editor
After rumors began to swirl last week that 50 Cent would no longer be a part of Chris Brown’s forthcoming “Party Tour” starting today (March 31), we can confirm that this is the case. We also have some real insight as to why he’s no longer a part of it.
Late last night (March 30), TMZ reported that 50 dropped out due to Breezy and Live Nation not being able to pay him enough money, but 50 quickly refuted that on his Instagram. In his post, 50 wrote, “I would never say my friends can’t afford me. This run wasn’t handled correctly, I’m still on set filming Den of Thieves. #effenvodka.”
Well, that explains it.
For us 50 fans, it’s disappointing knowing he won’t be on the tour, but at the same time, it’s reassuring to know that it wasn’t a money thing but rather a scheduling conflict. That said, Den of Thieves better be a good one!
Unfortunately fans who are hoping for a refund due to 50’s absence aren’t going to be too thrilled. Since Chris is the headliner and he’s still scheduled, refunds will not be given.
