This weekend consisted of two major things: the NBA All-Star Weekend and Future’s brand new, self-titled album. With mixed reviews throughout the industry, the first week sales projections are officially in.

According to HDD, Future is expected to move roughly 115-140k total units with 65-70k being traditional album sales. With little competition this week, Future is headed for another number 1 album.

During last night’s (Feb 19) NBA All-Star Game, a new commercial from Spotify and Future aired promoting the new album. With the lead single “Draco” playing in the background, Future certainly leveled up on the promo tip for this roll out.

So, assuming the projections are correct as they usually are, Future’s looking to add another number 1 album to his list and move over 100,000 copies of his new album, with just a week of promo. Salute that man.
