It’s been almost 20 years since the Hip-Hop world lost the great Notorious B.I.G, and now according to Variety, Submarine Entertainment and ByStorm Film are developing a film titled Notorious B.I.G.: One More Chance.

The documentary will be directed by Emmett and Brendan Malloy, and is crafted in connection with Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace and the late rapper’s estate.

Biggie’s mother said in a statement that “it brings so much joy to my heart that my son Christopher’s music has made such an impact on the music community and his stories have positively inspired so many young men and women over the years, and still influencing the youth all over the world today.”

While Emmett Malloy added “The challenge of making a film about one of the most influential artists of my generation is what I live for as a filmmaker.”

Next month on March 9th will mark the 20th anniversary of Biggie’s passing and Faith Evans is currently working on a joint album for her late husband titled The King & I.

Stay tuned as details continue to develop!
