The 59th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12th) will feature perhaps the award show’s most epic contest in years: Beyoncé vs. Adele.

Yes, both are mega-selling queens of pop whose every move resonate with the culture, but the fact that Beyoncé and Adele will face off in four of the biggest categories: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, gives the Grammys a rare tension that can only be good for ratings.

Also, lets not forget how much Adele loves Beyoncé as much and she loves Adele back. In a 2016 interview with Vanity Fair, Beyoncé gushed about 25 singer when she said, “when Adele sings, you can hear that it’s coming from an unfiltered honestly and purity. She creates songs that go deep and expose pain and vulnerability with her soulful voice. She takes you places other artists don’t go to anymore—the way they did in the ‘70s.”

That being said, the KarenCivil.com team is giving you a new Civil Court as two of our writers go head to head with opposing views on who will dominate the 2017 Grammys between Beyoncé and Adele.
