Jim Jones Says A$AP Mob Not From Streets

We all know the abilities of Jay Z. Recent successes, such as flipping a third of TIDAL over to Sprint for a hefty sum, shows that the business ventures of Hov know no bounds. That statement holds true again as Jim Jones has inked a deal with Roc Nation.

Hov’s Roc Nation has been snatching up talent across hip-hop consistently over the last year, adding the likes of Big Sean, T.I., Fabolous, Rapsody, Yo Gotti and The LOX to artist or management deals and has made the roster strong again by adding Jim Jones. Yes, Capo, “We Fly High”, Dipset Jim Jones.

“As you get older you realize that most of your peers are either dead or in jail,” said Jim Jones in a statement. “The fact that we can move passed the BS is a testimony of how much we have grown.”

Roc Nation will oversee all of Jim Jones’ platforms including music, fashion, acting and more. When asked why he went with the Roc, Jim had a simple answer: “The fact that people are ready to forget the past and help me move forward to the next step of my career is very inspiring.”

This move is a shocker, however, given the past beef with Hov and Jimmy. Over the years there was no indication that Jim or Jay had buried the hatchet but when it comes to good business all can be forgiven.

It's a done deal… Jim Jones/Roc Nation. #rocnation #vamplife
