Well, there you have it ladies and gentlemen, it looks like things are getting out of hand for Soulja Boy.

After much speculation and running the headlines for the past few weeks, the rapper has been charged with possession of an assault weapon and a felony in possession of a firearm in connection to his December arrest.

TMZ reports that cops recovered a Mini Draco AR-15, which is illegal for anyone to own in California. The news comes shortly after the “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” vocalist was arrested at his Los Angeles home last month on December 15th.

If convicted, Soulja Boy could face more than 4 years in prison. His arraignment is scheduled for Monday.
