2016 Year End Wrap Up: 25 Most Slept On Projects
by Staff Editor
Just like 2015, 2016 gave us some incredible music.
From the return of legends like A Tribe Called Quest (RIP Phife Dawg!), or De La Soul, to the rise of new school artists like Chance The Rapper, Anderson .Paak and so many more, this year was certainly a memorable one for music.
But, just like every year, there’s always a large handful of projects that got overlooked by the masses for one reason or another. Sometimes it’s bad timing, sometimes it’s “non-belief” and other times it took a few listens to realize just how good a project was.
Either way, these projects deserve their due spins and just because the year’s over, doesn’t mean we can’t revisit them.
With that said, we decided to round up 25 of the most slept on projects for 2016, ranging from new artists to the veterans. Tell us which ones we missed in the comments section below.
Side Note: These projects are not ranked in any specific order.
