Frank Ocean Gives First Interview In 3 Years At The White House
by Staff Editor
Last evening (10/19), the White House hosted a State Dinner for Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and some special guests were in attendance, including the rarely seen Frank Ocean. For the first time in three years, the crooner conducted a very brief interview with CSPAN.
During the short conversation, Frank spoke about why he chose to wear Vans to the White House State Dinner, and if he’d be putting on a concert in support of Hillary Clinton anytime soon. Would’ve been nice if CSPAN asked him why it took so long to drop new music, but oh well.
Before giving us Endless and Blonde earlier this year, it had been a few years since Frank gave us new music, and in that same time frame only made a few public appearances. It’s been rather quiet since he dropped the two aforementioned projects, but maybe this sighting is a sign of more to come.
Check out the short interview below.
