One of the hottest artists at the moment is Virginia’s own D.R.A.M. Many questioned if he’d be able to follow up his 2015 smash hit “Cha Cha” and avoid the one-hit wonder title, and by every standard imaginable, he certainly prevailed. Fast-forward to now, and the talented hitmaker is set to release his debut album Big Baby D.R.A.M. this Friday, October 21st.

To kickstart the promo, D.R.A.M. stopped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club to discuss a slew of things. He spoke on his highly anticipated debut album and what fans can expect from it, his love for his dog, who is featured on the album cover, the success of “Broccoli,” how he felt about Drake releasing “Hotline Bling” right after he dropped “Cha Cha,” how his collab with Erykah Badu came about, working with Rick Rubin closely, maintaining a good relationship with his ex, and much more.

Learn more about D.R.A.M. in his Breakfast Club interview below, and be sure to support the release of his debut album this Friday.
