Beyonce owning the Moonmans

Congrats to all the winners of last night’s VMAs, but the night wouldn’t have ended right if Beyonce didn’t walk away with a Moonman. And in fact, she did walk away with a couple. Eight to be exact! Because of that, Queen Bey surpassed Madonna for the most VMAs in history. Simply amazing.

While it’s undeniable that they were all well-deserved, one that was specially highlighted was the coveted Video of The Year award. She also dominated a brand new category called Breakthrough Long Form Video with her visuals for “Formation.”

In the end Bey came to slay not only the the red carpet, but the VMA stage. Way to make it memorable, Mrs. Knowles.
