After such a successful first episode, Elliott Wilson brought on the legendary Snoop Dogg for another in-depth discussion on CRWN.

Uncle Snoop was more than ready, especially after releasing his 14th album, Coolaid, which was styled as a response to Beyonce’s Lemonade.

“I stay relevant by associating with the youngsters, I stay in hip-hop, I never try to get too old or play too young. I stay in my position. I know who I am. I’m Uncle Snoop. What I am to the hip-hop game is what I am.”

Luckily, this generation still has the opportunity to bask in his talents while he and fellow hip-hop leaders, like The Game, approach the recent destruction involving police brutality. One particular movement was their quest to meet officers in the area to “open communication” between the groups. Though he’d never been one to associate with “the men in blue” it was a necessary step to progress awareness.

“When I make moves and choose to do what I do, it’s always about us. Never about me.”

Snoop went on to discuss creating distance from Suge Knight, Master P’s influence, and the rest of his iconic musical journey. Watch the entire sit-down at the link here.
