The extremely talented west coast upcomer Kamaiyah landed on our radar earlier this year with her critically acclaimed debut project A Good Night In The Ghetto. She then found herself featured on YG’s lead Still Brazy single “Why You Always Hating” also featuring Drake. Not a bad start to 2016, by any means.

Keeping her important and personal project alive, today Kamaiyah liberates XXL the premiere of her brand new mini documentary with the same title as the aforementioned project. Here’s what she told XXL about it:

“The A Good Night In The Ghetto doc was put together to show my evolution and journey into my first show,” she tells XXL, “as well as give people a brighter spectrum on who Kamaiyah is, where I come from, and the background regarding my musical influence and why I do it. My growing hype is humbling, I remain grounded because none of this is possible without God and humility. As for the future of my musical releases…stay tuned.”
