This past weekend, Philadelphia saw another successful Roots Picnic. With incredible performances from The Roots, Usher, Metro Boomin, DMX, Future (sort of), and more, this year’s event was another memorable one.

So memorable, that Questlove and The Roots have decided to bring the party to their “second home,” NYC.

On October 1st and 2nd at Manhattan’s Bryant Park, the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, D’Angelo, John Mayer, Swizz Beatz, Nile Rodgers, Jeremih, Kevin Gates, X Ambassadors, Lil Uzi Vert and much more will join The Roots for another exciting weekend of fun.

Questlove on bringing the show to NYC:

“New York is a second home to us,” The Roots’ Questlove tells Billboard. “There’s going to be pop up shops there, really good curated food, comedy, DJ parties there and acts that you wouldn’t expect… We’re deeply involved in everything, from the grass area to the food you’re gonna eat to the music you’re gonna hear in between. We’re a part of all of that.”
