Erykah Badu proves there’s nothing she can’t do in her latest feature in The FADER.

The producer’s issue of the magazine goes in-depth with the multi-talented icon about her life including motherhood, starting her record label, Control FreakQ, and her stance on the Black Lives Matter Movement.

The queenly Badu welcomed the magazine into her home the day before her 45th birthday. She spoke on her feelings of how she admires what Beyonce is doing in terms of her work with Formation. Someone else on her radar was Kendrick Lamar who’s, “consciously writing and effecting change by showing the other side of what happens in his community.” Reminiscent of NWA.
