Kevin Gates is still riding high off his successful album Islah, which he dropped in the beginning of the year. Eager to keep the new music coming, and a little frustrated with his label’s plans, Gates has announced the upcoming release of his new mixtape Murder For Hire 2.

Taking to Twitter and IG yesterday (April 13), Gates said “There not allowing me to release another album until Feb – fck it murder for hire 2.” We assume the “there (they’re)” is the label, or in simpler terms — it’s the “they” that Khaled’s always referring to.

Either way, fans should be excited about the new music. Stay tuned for more details surrounding Murder For Hire 2.
