Joell Ortiz brings the heat in his latest freestyle.

Opting to go in over Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” single, the MC is the first to attempt to do a freestyle over the wildly popular song.

Ortiz is currently wrapping up a new project called That’s Hip Hop, which is set to drop on March 15th and features Chris Rivers, Kool G Rap, and M.O.P among others.

While we’re definitely waiting for that new project, this freestyle will definitely tide us over until then.
