With 2,440 votes, in a quite shocking result, both “War Pain” and “Summer Sixteen” each received 50% of the votes. Crazy, we know.

Despite only tying Drake, you have to almost consider this a win for Meek. In 2015, had we ran a poll asking fans to choose between “Back To Back” and “Wanna Know,” it might’ve honestly been 100% in Drake’s favor. So for Meek’s latest effort to earn 50% of the votes in our pool, 6 months later, we consider that a victory.

It’ll be interesting to see how the rest of this beef plays out, especially with Meek’s latest sentencing. Luckily he avoided jail time, but him being on house arrest will prevent him from releasing a bunch of music, being able to tour, etc.

“War Pain” and “Summer Sixteen” are both great songs for their own reasons. What’s your pick?

I don’t think it’s a win for Meek. He had Drizzy’s lyrics on a plate ahead of time. Dissected everything he said.

I think Meek used it as strategic move to prove that Drakes Camp not honorable.

Possibly, or could be somebody else that they gave the track too. Or MAYBE they leaked it to Meek on purpose thinking he’s got some points on the board. Nobody knows at this point though. But I don’t see how or why Meek deserves credit for his verses when it was provided.
