There’s no doubting the raw talent that is Bad Gal RiRi. Her accomplishments are innumerable, but will ANTi be a part of one of her many successes? Probably not.

Don’t get it wrong! Rihanna has outdone herself time and time again in the music industry. At the same time, she’s been putting a lot of work into the fashion industry too. Now there’s nothing wrong with being a Jack of All Trades. However, there does come a time when it seems like more effort is being put into one thing than another.

With her resume growing from her own sock line to her work with Puma, the drop date for ANTi seems long overdue. After hearing “BBHMM” (released March 2015) countless times on the radio and seeing the highly anticipated debut of it’s music video four months later, the RihannaNavy was ready for the project to drop. Approximately seven months later and everyone’s still wondering, “So…where’s the album?”

It sucks to say it, but all this delayed time in the release is going to make sales suffer. One thing is for certain. Songwriter Glass John’s rant on Twitter about the “real” reason for ANTi‘s delay (Travi$ Scott) was definitely good publicity to keep people thinking it. However, that won’t necessarily translate in how well it does on the charts.

All in all, the industry waits for no one. More music is getting made everyday. And while no one can compare to RiRi, let’s just say if she wants these sales to hit, she needs to drop that heat ASAP. – Breanna Chi’anne
